Our History

Beverly Manor Missionary Baptist Church was organized on August 13, 1960 under the leadership of Missionary Mark J. Maddox. From the beginning, the church has supported missionaries throughout the world.

Currently, the church supports 22 missionaries in over 14 countries. In the spring of 1965, the church voted to establish a seminary for the training of pastors and Christian workers in the Word of God. For 55 years, Illinois Baptist College served to prepare God’s people to better serve our King. After the college closed in 2020, the church approved the organization of Ironworks Baptist Educational Ministries to fill the same role.
